An one-time ally of Lightning, Snow was engaged to her sister, Serah.
Now he is the world's last remaining l'Cie, cursed with a terrible power with dangerously close to becoming a Cie'th.
Though devastated by his failure to protect Serah...
But he has served as the Patron of Yusnaan for five long centuries.
He protects the city and its people even as the rest of the world falls apart.
-We all come into the world alone and that's the way we've gotta leave it-
Snow has straight shoulder-length hair and wears an all black suit now.
He wields a giant pole apparently encased in either crystal or ice.
The l'Cie brand which he had in Final Fantasy XIII-2 that still appears to be in the same place and hidden by his sleeve, only now it advanced to the final stage, also it sometimes glows through his sleeve.
The only elements that have remained from his original look are his gloves, engagement pendant, and boots.
Snow is the governor-general of the city of Yusnaan now.
Although his promise to protect people remains but he is no longer the cheerful optimist as he used to be...
He is the polar opposite person from previous himself... dark, solemn, and brooding.
Now his words and deeds like a broken man who harbors the regret of not being able to save Serah.
Since escaped from the Void Beyond - Coliseum, Snow becomes the Patron of the city of Yusnaan and has been its ruler for five centuries already.
During this period, he always harbor regret over having been unable to save Serah and finally he wonders if he will see her again upon his death.
So when Lightning arrives in Yusnaan, Snow manages to escape her.
It's just... Lightning still reach Snow and also challenged him to a battle in the end, but the true reason for their rivalry is yet unknown in the game...

Concentrations of Chaos will appear to random locations and it also will make monsters become even more powerful who near it.
Furthermore, Lightning can't get her HP back when she finished these challenging Chaos battles. But she will likely receive rare and useful items after she get courage to go to beat them.
